Frederike is a petite green-eyed red-haired beauty from Amsterdam in the Netherlands (planning to soon be living in London on a semi-permanent basis). Frederike always tries to focus her work on the beauty she sees as opposed to the negative side shown by conventional media. NOTE: Frederike started photographing rock/punk musicians when she was 19. After about seven years, she came to a creative block and started photographing drag queens to find new avenues of photograhic interpretation. Frederike says she is having a great time photographing drag queens. You can always find her in New York when Wigstock rolls around, because extensive research is needed in support of the documentary theme style of photography Frederike has chosen when the drag scene is her subject. She hopes to publish her work in book form soon, so if you know of a good publisher, Frederike's book will be a surefire winner.

Frederike uses her website as an agency for people with a very unique facade or a classically photogenic appearance. She has many drag models, make-up artists and hair-stylists on file as well as a variety of other photo-features. Princess Paula has dubbed Frederike as "Honorary Pavilion Photo-Archivist"!
